Which Laws Do Charities Have to Follow?

Law definition

Fraudulent charitable solicitations results in millions of dollars of losses in contributions to legitimate charities each year.  These unscrupulous solicitors cause immense harm to legitimate charities by siphoning off donations intended for a good cause while undermining the goodwill and confidence of contributors.

This disregard led the Colorado General Assembly to create The Colorado Charitable Solicitations Act (§6-16-101 - §6-16-114) that governs charities and charitable solicitors activity within the State of Colorado.
